Challenge

Validate whether early Oculus hand-tracking fidelity was sufficient for controller-free gameplay interactions.

Approach

Rapid Unity prototype on Quest 2: mapped hand poses to finger-gun interactions, tuned detection thresholds, and built simple targets to validate responsiveness and latency.

Outcome

Confirmed hand tracking was stable enough for lightweight interaction design and produced a reliable demonstration build.
