Challenge

See if the brand-new Oculus hand pose detection was accurate enough for gameplay without controllers; build something fun while learning the API.

Approach

Rapid Unity prototype on Quest 2: mapped hand poses to finger-gun interactions, tuned detection thresholds, and built simple targets to validate responsiveness and latency.

Outcome

Confirmed the hand-tracking felt solid for light gameplay and produced a fun demo.
