Challenge
Early Snap Lens Studio had minimal game tooling—no built-in collisions or interaction systems—so everything had to be hand-coded in JS while keeping it fun and fast to share.
Approach
Built custom collision, movement, and interactions in JS inside Lens Studio; designed mouth-launched rockets vs. UFOs, added audio I composed, and tuned it for quick, viral play.
Outcome
Shipped a fully playable AR mini-game that spread widely, taught me the Lens Studio pipeline, and proved Snapchat lenses could carry arcade-style play.
