Challenge

Second one-week jam in the alphabet series: build core dog controls and bird AI fast enough to deliver a playable loop, even if stretch goals slipped.

Approach

Implemented a playable dog that can run, jump, bark, and pick up the tossed newspaper; built bird AI to swoop in and steal it. Focused on moment-to-moment feel over full feature scope. Stretch goal (not shipped): a secret collar that turns barks into a vaporizing plasma beam.

Outcome

Delivered a playable prototype with stable controls and enemy behaviors, plus a clear roadmap for future progression features.
