Challenge

Make a stable, shippable AR experience when marker-based AR was the only reliable option. Marry audio synthesis with AR input and keep it approachable for first-time users.

Approach

Used Unity + Vuforia with a US dollar bill as the image target. Added virtual keys, buttons, and effects mapped to audio synthesis. Shipped to iOS and handled full pipeline: prototyping, build, store submission, and updates.

Outcome

30k+ downloads on iOS; proved out an end-to-end AR product, taught me the realities of AR UX, distribution, and drove me toward more advanced AR projects. To my knowlege, one of the first AR synths in the world.
